It cooled off here, thank goodness. Bit of fall chill in the air in the early morning and evenings, although it does not really feel like autumn here in L.A. until the rain begins usually around December.
I'm going to take full advantage of the cooler temperatures and start a sweater. Never knitted a sweater before. I'm going to try this one (6th photo, pictured above) from Joelle Hoverson's Last- Minute Knitted Gifts. The sequel to this book is out now...I should really order it. Hoverson is so brilliant with her use of color. The images of the striped blanket & The coffee cozies are projects from the new book.

OMG what is that amazing blanket? I want. I need!
Megan, it's a blanket project from More Last-Minute Knitted Gifts. It would take a lot of yarn, but it looks like it would be pretty easy to make (so if you knit, or learn to knit- you can make it yourself)!
oh! look at those blouses, gorgeous !
i like that sweater. i've been meaning to knit myself one too.
oh, and your studio shots are great :)
i'm with you! so ready to get the knitting back out! first sweater!! started mine last winter and it's still sitting in the knitting basket half done....haha :)
