Views from the new studio.
At last I have a proper cutting table, and can finally see what fabric I have!

aaah. order and organisation.
I'm working on it myself and, funnily enough, it IS rewarding and it DOES provide some "zenninness" ("they" were right about it.)
enjoy (I'm sure you already are ;)

p.s. is that animal on the first pic real? scarily massive "springs" to mind.

So great to have your room, just for you and your fabrics! I have a big table like this to cut...

I'm glad to see you have such a nice workplace now. My mom is a quilter and has 30+ large plastic tubs of fabric. How long do you think it will take until you are there? ;)

Thanks everybody- it feels so good to finally walk into a clean, organized space.
Mae,
Yeah, I definitely have some of the hoarding instinct in me. No plastic tubs of fabric yet! Everything was in boxes until I moved into this room. Now my fabric and yarn supplies occupy 1.5 shelves.
Not too bad...but I do have to remind my self this fabric is to be used, not just looked at!
