New haircut & color with a reddish tint to it.
New Frayed- Edge ERMIE blouse in sunny yellow linen.
I am heartened by all of your words of encouragement from yesterday's post.
It was not an easy decision to come to.
It was hard to tell a couple co-workers in particular- who are lovely people, and amazing nurses, because I know my departure leaves them short-handed, and I hate feeling like I'm letting people down.
My brain keeps trying to convince me I am making a mistake. My heart (mostly) says otherwise.
Thank-you, all of you, for your kindness.

you're doing the right thing! i know it must be scary, but you're choosing the direction you want your life to go in. it's right to follow your heart. it might not be easy, but good things will come. we're all rooting for you!
: )
I just read yesterday's post...
Jennifer, I give you a lot of credit for making this life choice. I can only imagine how frightening it is to make this leap, but also so exciting. Now you can focus on what really brings you joy. You have a true talent for design; if you put your heart and mind towards it, you will definitely succeed!
(PS: I love your new haircut, and the yellow top is beautiful! The raw edges suit the design perfectly.)
gah! fantastic haircut. I'm bookmarking for when I (inevitably) decide I need shorter hair again. And yes, right choice!
hmm, maybe i should take a photo of you to my next hair appointment! i feel like my stylist no longer 'gets' me.
it sounds like you're making a good decision. being sick from all that stress is no way to live.
and that yellow is eye-poppingly gorgeous!
No regrets Jennifer... Let your heart speak (in french: laisse ton coeur parler)... And all this colour... I wait for your new collection!
That blue necklace is heavenly...I love all the different shades. I'm happy you chose to follow your heart on this one :)
Love it! It really, really suits you lady. And I have been thinking about you b/c a friend just mentioned how she wants to quit her job and open an ice cream shop :) What an exciting time in your life! And you are looking quite smashing whist doing it, I might add.
i'm so excited for you! things that are meaningful are meant to be hard and fraught with fear. how else would we know that they are of value and precious? i can't wait to see what you will continue to bring to the world. such a saffron-colored inspiration!
PS and now you can really maximize the gorgeous summer vibes! what perfect timing. ;)
