Lesley Vance is a talented Los Angeles based painter who is making a big splash these days- featured in this years Whitney Biennial and subsequently Time Magazine. Can't wait for her next local show.

So great! They remind me of some Gerhard Richter paintings I've seen, but also of mineral samples (agates, etc.).
