Two shows I liked from last Saturday's openings: Loren Sandvik at Chinatown's Acuna- Hansen Gallery :




I just really loved the materials and structures of these pieces...

Recommendation # 2 : Monique Prieto at ACME Los Angeles




The colors, the text, the patterns, paint handling...so enjoyable to look at.

Oh, I love these objects!! I was wondering how they attached and hang them from ceiling. A bit scarely if they fall..

I bought it at fabric store

and brought it to Japan with me. I am not sure who designed it... but I will let you know if I find it!

My aunt use to have a dressmaking shop...
She paints flowers on a fabric and then makes custom made shirts now! ox
