A friend of ours was sweet enough to give us some seeds from heirloom tomatoes that she grew last year. It was about 80 degrees here today (I was inside at work for most of it) and feels like summertime. It started me thinking about how there is nothing better than a ripe tomato picked fresh from the garden, still warm from the sun, with a little salt.
I also just love how our friend wrapped these little seeds up...so cute.

These are so sweet! You're lucky!!

It seems like great weather over there compare to the wearther in NY... I wish I could get rid of this heavy winter coat and scarf..

I hope they grow.
Last year our tomatoes were sad.
I'll have to save some seeds from the new tomatoes if they do grow and share the wealth!I'll save some for you!

REAL home grown tomatoes - the best. I need to start planning for spring as well...maybe Sweet 100 and Brandywine. Love the little packages - great friend!
