Someone
has been yarnbombing Highland Park and Eagle Rock and it's awesome.
Looks nice with all of the blooming flowers in the 'hood, too.

this is a rad idea for a dry city like los angeles. but when i lived in pdx people would stick yarn covers all over the place, it would rain, and everything got so disgusting. wet, moldy wool on public benches, lamp posts, parking meters. haha. it was the worst.

That is some of the most impressive yarn bombing I have seen. Usually its just a bit of knitting wrapped around a bike rail.
