this is a rad idea for a dry city like los angeles. but when i lived in pdx people would stick yarn covers all over the place, it would rain, and everything got so disgusting. wet, moldy wool on public benches, lamp posts, parking meters. haha. it was the worst.

That is some of the most impressive yarn bombing I have seen. Usually its just a bit of knitting wrapped around a bike rail.
Oh, i can't wait to discover one!! These are so well done, that parking meter makes me WANT to put coins in it.
