Scoops Ice Cream

I
t was the first day of spring. Overcast and cool for L.A.- we decided we still wanted to make a trip to Scoops Ice Cream. Tai Kim is the owner and ice cream mastermind behind this small shop. The flavors are made in small batches by hand (by Mr. Kim). The flavors...amazing. I had Pistachio Cardamom, and the Salty Chocolate. Tomory had Taro, and Vegan Maple Oreo Cookie.
In the past I've had Brie ice cream, Chocolate Guinness, PBR & Avocado, Strawberry Balsamic, Brown Bread (tastes like Grape Nuts cereal) and so many more. A true L.A. gem.

You are adventurous in your ice cream flavors and I admire that! Sounds like a great place for people who are open minded ... unlike myself, I am a stick in the mud with ice cream flavors :) Give me plain chocolate!

Janis & Natsumi...
I love chocolate too. In fact I'm not so adventurous in my ice cream flavors. When we go to Scoops I'm usually tempted to get chocolate. Or some variation on it.
Mr. Kim is so nice though...he lets you try any and all flavors you want before you make your final choice.
