We have been eating Blood Oranges from the tree in our yard. We planted it when we first moved into our home in 2007. This is the first year that it has borne fruit. They are so delicious.

I'm proud to announce that I dropped off a small order of scarves yesterday at Platform! I love this store, and I feel so lucky that they wanted to include my work in their shop. They will be selling scarf styles exclusive to their shop (the Big Chiffon Scarf in the Solstice Print) and silk crepe de chine scarves in the Zuma, Talitha, and Ikat (SS '11) Prints, the Yarn Print Chiffon Scarves in both the Mojave and Big Sur colorways, plus the Magic Marker and Ave. 51 Print Scarves in silk crepe from ERMIE SS '11.

Read more about Alex & Sarah and their store here and here.

The blog will be kind of quiet here over the next week or so. I'll be away for a bit. I stated this here, but please note: if you order a ready-made item from my shop (scarves) between now and 12/13/11 your order will not ship until 12/14/11 due to my travel schedule.

Happy December!
xx

Mmm....love those warm colours.

Congratulations! Doesn't it feel great to have your work in a store that you love? I really like visiting such stores and seeing my own work with other peoples' amazing pieces. It feels a bit special.
