My friend Deb is having a show at Seattle'sHoward House. If you are in the area, you should check it out. I wish I could go. See more pictureshere. All photographs courtesy of Debra Baxter/ Howard House.
The peonies faded from hot pink to pale pink ivory. The kittens were spotted yesterday with their mom...I only saw 2 out of the initial 4. I have a feeling the other two didn't make it... :(
My friend Sarah Pauli (by way of her lovely sister Adria) sent me a necklace that she made from braided cotton and citrine stones for a wedding present. I love it- it's like pure sunshine in solid form! She makes the most wonderful jewelry. Currently she is living out of the country with her husband and child, and I don't think she has a website at this time. I'll update you when I speak with her! I think the necklace will look great with thisMociun dress...via Totokaelo...which is having a big SALE right now.
Those of you who read my blog know that I am a Naomi Ito fabric addict. So I'm trying to branch out. I just purchased some new fabric. It's by Etsuko Furuya. Hmmm. Japanese designer, produced by Kokka, double gauze...O.K. so it's not really branching out but I'm going to have fun making tops and dresses with these beautiful accquisitions to my stash!

Farmer's Market in South Pasadena a couple of days ago.We picked up dinner & some delicious plums. It always makes me happy to go there and walk around. I really liked the printed yellow dress on the young girl in the last photo.
