Seattle Weekend

So, about a week ago T & I flew to Seattle for a long weekend to see our friends Sean & Amber get married.
Our first stop was the Rendezvous, to see Sean & Amber play in their band.
Also on the bill was Jabon (spooky & cool) , Hans Grusel's Krankenkabinet (whoa) , & the Druggies (didn't make it...bed was calling). A really fun night, and most of the bands were friends of the bride & groom and also in town for the wedding.
Tomory even played bass on 1 song!

Prior to the wedding, I made sure that I went to see Deb's show at Platform Gallery. I think it's up for a couple more days if you live in the area! Next 3 pics are all of Deb's work.

Then there was the prep for and the wedding itself which was held in Sean & Amber's backyard.
The day before the wedding we all went over to their place & helped decorate their lush magnolia trees with LED rigged paper lanterns. Cakes were baked and flowers were purchased...

Sue baked the cake. It was insane. Certainly the best wedding cake I've ever had!

The wedding was laid back, fun, amazing and moving. It really was the perfect day for my two friends, and I'm so happy that we were there to share it with them.

That looks like my kind of wedding. Simple, beautiful and relaxed. A true celebration of love. And what an awesome couple - in a band together!

That looks so fun! Love her RC dress. When I saw that dress online I almost wanted to marry Joe over again so I could be married in THAT dress. : )

Why did I think you went to SF? Oh dear, I'm too young to have such a horrible memory.

What a fun weekend, from music to wedding cake. I like that kind of wedding - no fuss, just a good time with friends :^)
