Our Yuccas are blooming. So beautiful.

It's been a long week. But I've been getting some fantastic things in the mail lately (more on that next week), which always makes things better. I just had to order more of the purple-pink shot cotton, and some little bits of printed fabrics for trim on the ERMIE dresses. The last photograph is a picture of a splurge. One yard of Tana Lawn Liberty fabric. It's so silky, the quality is amazing. Now I know why it's so pricey...worth every penny...and I am happy it will be gracing some of the dresses I'm making.

Angelina,
Purl Soho...they have a warehouse in Tustin, CA- so when you order online,
you usually receive your order within a couple of days. Very convenient.

Oh, thank you. Yes, I love them. I just read a great interview of the owner in the book Knit Knit. She's got a great eye for color.

Angelina, yes! Joelle...I believe it's her sister Jennifer who runs the warehouse here in CA. I love their stores in NYC. (And your store...things are already looking great for fall!). Do you have Joelle's book "Last Minute Knitted Gifts?" It's amazing. Great projects, great color and photography in there!
I have the Knit Knit book, too :)
