Fabric Addict

Those of you who read my blog know that I am a Naomi Ito fabric addict.
So I'm trying to branch out. I just purchased some new fabric. It's by Etsuko Furuya.
Hmmm. Japanese designer, produced by Kokka, double gauze...O.K. so it's not really branching out but I'm going to have fun making tops and dresses with these beautiful accquisitions to my stash!

I love this fabric with the detailed animals...What do you see yourself making with this one? You are a great resource for Japanese textiles Jennifer!

Janis,
The fabric with the detailed animals: a dress. Maybe Anna Maria Horner's Socialite Dress. It may be for me- or for another person...I have so many friends that have birthdays coming up!

It's obvious that the Japanese fabric designers have a wonderful aesthetic, so why worry if you're "branching out" enough? I am really excited to see what you make with the fabric in the last two photos!
