Corner View: Repurposed Object

On my Super-messy desk sits my Super Girl Glass. I bought this from an antique store when I lived in Minnesota. I've had this for over 10 years and somehow have managed not to break it over that period and subsequent moves to Seattle and Los Angeles, respectively.
It holds pens, paintbrushes, and a single red knitting needle.
Not the most original in terms of re-purposing objects, and kind of dorky, but whatever.
For the last week I've certainly been feeling less than super because of an upper respiratory infection. I'm better now. Like I said- I feel a little silly/embarrassed about posting this but sometimes I think we all need a little reminder that we are, in fact, super.

Great going after 10 years - I wonder how old it is? Supergirl on your desk must inspire you to do lots of super things. No embarrassment necessary!

Being nerdy counts, so this is a perfect repurposing item... it holds one red knitting needle does it not?

Sorry to hear about your illness lingering... Get better Super Girl!
