This is my Aunt Ermie. She was amazing. World traveler. She loved art. She encouraged me to go to art school, and she is probably the reason why I also became a nurse. I miss her. This blog is named for her.
Just received my copy of A Year of Mornings: 3191 Miles Apart by Maria Alexandra Vettese and Stephanie Congdon Barnes. Buy this book. You won't be sorry. It reminds you of how quiet and beautiful life can be. It pales in comparison, but this is my photo inspired by their work. Taken at about 9 am Pacific time. Let's see if I can post a photo a day for 1 year.
