Goodbye 2011, you've been quite a year.

Taking a little blog and shop break: Over the next couple weeks I won't be posting too much here (although I'll probably still post some stuff on Tumblr), and I'll temporarily be closing the shop to new orders. During this time I hope to solidify some new projects, wrap up some old projects, work on ERMIE S/S '12, & generally get my head together and develop some healthier habits.

...and sneak a desert trip and a Sound Bath in there too, somewhere.

When I return, I'll place select items in the shop on sale, and have some one-off designs and fabric remnants for sale on this blog as well.

Around II

Getting into the holiday spirit! Our house is filled with family, flowers, food.
Last night, Alex and Satoko made us an amazing meal of miso glazed halibut, vegetable-tofu miso soup, & kinpira gobo (stir-fried burdock root) with steamed rice and a green salad.

3 lbs of pecans from Oklahoma were gifted to us. What should we do with them (pralines? pecan pie? roast them with olive oil and herbs?)? For now they are sitting around in my handmade bowls for snacking. I'm liking this little bowl more, despite it's odd glaze.



A beautiful silk twill scarf by Dealtry, which I have been wrapping myself in quite frequently, keeping things cozy.
