photo-56pack

So I walked to the post office yesterday to mail these orders,
and I walked past the spot where I took the photo of shadows cast by plants on the sidewalk that later became the basis for the Ave. 51 Print.

I thought you'd might like to see the actual plants that cast the shadows...

  1. Oh, those are plumerias/plumeria tree. Interesting. We have those trees here in Hawaii and they actually came from China. People make a lot of leis with plumeria blossoms. Cool.

  3. I love, love those flowers. They're all over Southeast Asia where I spent two months not long ago. Beautifully captured here.

  4. I knew you guys would come through for me!
Thanks for letting me know what they are.
Julie - I actually thought of you when I posted this... Because they did remind me of Hawaiian leis.
I think it's fitting that one of my most popular prints comes from such beautiful source material.
