Artist Ricky Swallow and Ryan Conder (co-owner of the boutique South Willard) began Altadena Works with the idea of producing accessories (totes, backpacks) here in California, with a nod to vintage American sports gear design.

Altadena Works beautiful, functional tote was recently featured in the Los Angeles Times.

One of these weekends, I'll have to check South Willard out as well.

It's inspiring to see so much initiative and creative energy here in L.A!
