Okay, okay, so this isn't in Los Angeles, but this weeks Corner View gives me a chance to tell you more about my NYC trip.
So. There I was in Brooklyn. We had just met up with Marc and Jessica for studio visits. We were all in need of a nosh.
M+J suggested a little place near their studio: Bar Tano
I had a low-grade fever and needed some serious comfort food. I ordered the Spaghetti al Pomorodo.
It came with home-made meatballs and grilled bread.
Fresh Basil. Freshly grated Parmesan.
It hit the spot.
Completely.
I felt better, revived. Restored. Less feverish.
Coincidence?
I think not.
