Yarn that my Mother-in-Law gave me as a present. Hand-spun and hand-dyed (some with Kool-Aid ! ) by a woman (photo directly above) who sells her wares at a farmer's market in Ardmore, OK. If anyone out there knows this gifted lady's name, please enlighten me!
Oh, these are beautiful yarns... the pink is my favorite!
ReplyDeletewhat are you planning to make? Enjoy!
How cool!
ReplyDeleteSomeone just told me you can make amazing dyes from Kool-Aid! (Which frankly, in my opinion, is the only thing it is good for!)
ReplyDeleteNatsumi...I'd love to make a sweater, but it's not enough yarn. Another scarf!
ReplyDeleteLina & Genevieve...I had heard about this technique of using Kool-Aid to dye yarn...the colors are so beautiful...now I'm going to have to try it. I'm assuming it might work with a lightweight cotton fabric, too?
