Quince Paste


Tomory made quince paste Wednesday with the quinces from our bushes in our yard. Rich but delicious. We still have plenty...come over!

  1. oh this is very spanish. it´s called membrillo. i love it with cheese and bread. it´s a typical dessert here. mmmm i´d love some!

  2. i wish i could come over! i love quince. my mom has a bush in the garden and sometimes make jam from it. love it! and these photos sure do make it look as delicious as i remember :)

    Jane- yes- Membrillo- although, Tomory's version is the only one I've tasted...yet to compare it to an authentic Spanish one. Enjoying your blog!!

    Janis: Agreed :) (Wish I could ship some paste to you...but it's in a layer in a dish, not canned :(
