The other night it finally felt like fall.
September.
It was my turn to cook...so I reached for this cookbook for inspiration. When I purchased this book, I bought it not only for the recipes, but for the incredible photography as well (also, the author Jeanne Kelley, resides in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of L.A. Very close to my neighborhood. And she raises chickens. And yes, they produced the blue eggs of the book title that are pictured above).
So I ended up making the ultimate fall comfort food: Macaroni & Cheese.
"Baked Ziti with Cauliflower & Cheese" to be precise.
It was sooo good. Even better the next day.
I purchased my copy locally from the Little Flower Candy Co. but you can also find the book here.

I'm smitten with the cover and the one or two recipes you've mentioned on your blog. I've just requested a copy from my local library. I'll take it for a test run and then I'll probably buy it. Thanks for such a nice recommendation.
