The skies have been so beautiful lately. More clouds than usual.
A couple of days ago, we had brush fires in the Glendale/ Eagle Rock area - you could see the smoke and the flames from our house. I hate fire season. Believe me- when I first came to Los Angeles- the concept of 'fire season' was tough to grapple with...everyone was just so nonchalant about it...I know I sound crazy, but being from Iowa, give me a tornado over fire season or earthquakes any day!
However, I have to admit, it's sort of beautiful, too.
Easy on the eyes- bad for the asthma.
We had that two years ago with all the fires. It was horriable because I couldn't let the children outside.
